We’re a volunteer-run project, off Brighton’s Lewes Road, working to reduce waste and enable members of the community to access affordable cycling by providing:

  • A choice of refurbished bikes at bargain prices
  • Free access to tools and workshop space for DIY repairs (donations appreciated)
  • Affordable new and used parts
  • Advice and support from our volunteer team
  • Occasional training workshops
  • Group rides

Please note: We do not offer paid for repairs or services. We encourage you to come down and take advantage of our Do It Yourself space. We are always up for helping anyone, including complete beginners, learn how to fix their bikes.

As part of Cycling UK’s ‘Big Bike Revival’ programme we currently offer weelkly ‘Fix Your Bike Friday’ sessions and occasional cycle maintenance training sessions (at our Bike Hub East workshop in the Big Lemon Bus depot). The next of these free sessions are on Thu 8 Feb & Sat 24 Feb 2024 from 11am to 1:30pm. To book a place send a text with your name and prefered date to 07944 152706 or click here

Brighton Bike Hub is actively working for a zero-carbon future and to enable those on low income to cycle. We are supported with funding from Sussex Community Foundation, Brighton & Hove City Council, the National Lottery Community Fund (‘Awards for All’) and Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival. Last year we also received funding from Rampion Offshore Wind.
